Introduction

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is our great pleasure to announce the 4th International Symposium on HPV Infection in Head and Neck Cancer, 10 and 11 November at The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This symposium belongs to a biennial series that started in Poznan, followed by Leipzig, Essen and now Amsterdam.  Originally it was planned in November 2020, but had to be postponed to 2022 due to the Covid19 pandemic.

We cordially invite you to participate in this important event on the role of HPV in head and neck oncology. The program contains highlights in epidemiology and carcinogenesis, prognosis and serology HPV in OPSCC, treatment of HPV+ve OPSCC, therapy developments in HPV+ve OPSCC, future perspectives in HPV research, screening and prevention.

Lectures will be given by internationally renowned experts and presentations of a selection of submitted abstracts will be complemented by panel discussions, tumor boards, debates and posters.
